Pakistan and UAE Agree: No More Visas for Special Passport Holders
Good news for Pakistan! People with diplomatic and official passports can now go to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) without a visa. This change happened after both countries had an important meeting. Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, met the UAE’s Foreign Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. They met in Abu Dhabi last month to talk about making travel easy for officials.
Both leaders agreed that visas should not be needed for special passport holders. After the meeting, both countries signed an official paper to confirm the plan. Now, the UAE has started this new visa-free rule. Starting from July 25, 2025, people from Pakistan with official or diplomatic passports can go to the UAE without applying for a visa.
Pakistan will also do the same for UAE diplomats. This means UAE citizens with special passports can enter Pakistan without a visa. This step will help both countries become closer friends. It will also save time and make travel faster for government workers.
This new rule is very good news for both countries. It shows that Pakistan and the UAE want to work together and help each other. It also opens the door for more friendly projects in the future. Leaders from both sides hope this will build stronger ties and more cooperation between the two nations.
