The announcement was made by Dr. Shafqat Ayaz, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Science and Information Technology. He emphasized that this system is designed to simplify the process of paying traffic fines while ensuring greater transparency, efficiency, and public convenience.
With the introduction of this platform, citizens will no longer need to visit offices or stand in long lines at banks. Instead, they can now submit their challan payments online, using secure digital channels from the comfort of their homes.
Dr. Ayaz explained that this initiative not only saves time and resources for the public but also contributes to improving government revenue and reducing the opportunities for corruption. “This is a key step toward achieving e-governance,” he said, “and it reflects our commitment to providing modern, citizen-friendly services through digital innovation.”
