Atlas Honda Launches ICON e – Electric Scooter in Pakistan

Atlas Honda has officially stepped into Pakistan’s electric vehicle (EV) market with the launch of its very first electric scooter, the ICON e:. This marks a major milestone not only for the company but also for Pakistan’s shift toward cleaner, greener transportation. As demand for eco-friendly mobility rises, Honda’s move is expected to set new standards in the two-wheeler electric segment. Atlas Honda Official Site

Priced at Rs. 419,900, the ICON e: is more expensive than most Chinese-made electric scooters already available in the market. However, Honda’s trusted name and global reputation for quality engineering give the scooter a premium appeal. Buyers are likely paying extra for reliability, brand confidence, and future-proof technology.

While Atlas Honda has not officially released detailed specs for the Pakistan model, experts believe it will be similar to the Indonesian version launched earlier. If that’s true, the local model will feature a powerful in-wheel brushless motor producing 1.81 kW of peak power. This motor setup ensures smooth and efficient performance, especially on urban roads.

The ICON e: is powered by a 30.6 Ah lithium-ion battery, which can be fully charged in about seven hours. A single charge delivers a maximum range of 53 kilometers, with a top speed of around 55 km/h—perfect for everyday city travel. This makes the scooter ideal for students, delivery riders, and professionals who travel short distances frequently.

Comfort and safety are also key highlights. The scooter includes a telescopic front suspension and a dual rear suspension system, designed to handle bumpy city roads smoothly. It also comes with hydraulic disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear, supported by Honda’s Combi Brake System (CBS) for balanced stopping power.

In terms of convenience, the ICON e: features under-seat storage, a USB charger, a fully digital dashboard, and LED lights for better visibility. These smart features improve user experience and align with the needs of modern commuters.

This launch by Atlas Honda signals a strong commitment to electric mobility in Pakistan. As the government pushes forward its National Electric Vehicle Policy (NEV) 2025–30, more brands are joining the EV race. Honda’s entry is expected to boost consumer confidence and promote the adoption of sustainable urban transport options.

With local production, growing charging infrastructure, and policy support, the electric scooter market in Pakistan is just getting started. Honda’s ICON e: could lead the way in building a reliable, long-term ecosystem for two-wheeled electric travel. Wikipedia
